Black Is Magic, by game designer Sydney Adams, highlights Black artists and subjects on the titular cards. If you are hesitant to support Magic: The Gathering after the offensive depictions of Black characters in their series, proceeds from this series will go directly to Black Girls CODE, an organization dedicated to supporting more women of color to get into computer sciences and STEM fields.

As a former fan of Magic, it’s great to see positive, beautifully depicted Black people on these cards. I fully plan to pick up the sweet foil additions and display them proudly as my only Magic: The Gathering cards. Our very own Dan O’Brien is interested in providing some art for these cards. The ship may have sailed on that but perhaps Super. Black. can create some custom cards. A Super. Black Deck Building game. Who’s in? I’ll tap three Plains cards and use my Plainsmen cards to attack your life points directly. Did I do that right?

Support Black Is Magic, Black art, and Super. Black.

Do you know what happens to a toad when it’s struck by lightning?

Why do people hate this line of dialogue? What exactly would you want Storm to say at that critical moment. I've read people wanted a more epic tag to a pretty good setup and felt disappointed. Here is the full line: "Do you know what happens to a toad when it’s...
