Green Lantern John Stewart gets show on HBO Max

It looks like everyone’s favorite Lantern is taking the reigns of the HBO Max animated series. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news as the long-in-development TV series gets new writers and refocuses on John Stewart. The original pitch for the series followed the first Green Lantern, Alan Scott, and arguably no one’s favorite lantern, Guy Gardner. The exit of studio head Walter Hamada sparked the change of direction.
