Animal Crossing: New Horizons finally adds hair for Black people!

So Animal Crossing: New Horizons finally adds hair for Black people. First off, Hooray!. Second, it’s not only for Black people but the hair variety has been upped a bit. Want a fade? Now you can have it. But the real treat, are all the natural hair options for us melanin-infused folks.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons finally adds hair for Black people

I have been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons since launch. In that time I have hopped between two hairstyles. The dreads and the clean-cut combover. Neither hair is accurate to my actual hairstyle but the other options were not fit for my man Lucius. With this upcoming update on November 19th, we get the option to rock a fro, or for the ladies, a nice pair of natural curly buns. I am excited. It really is the little things. I am excited to see what Kang, a prominent Animal Crossing Streamer, does with these new hairstyles. I envision a bald look is on the horizon for him.

AC fans are usually starved for content, and each new update brings revitalized excitement to the community. All things considered, not a whole lot is coming to the game. A few new emotes, the ability to sit down (the things you take for granted), and some holiday events that come and go way too fast. But, this game is definitely a form a self-care so every update gives people a reason to return to their island paradise, even for a while. Thank’s Nintendo.

The Island life for me

I do my kata’s by a waterfall. No big deal.
