Chuck Fairlane was a rising star in professional football before that fateful day when he beat the stuffing out of the leagues’ most beloved mascot. This not only ends his promising career, it also put in motion events that would make a really funny comic.
From writers Chris Sims and Chad Bowers, Down. Set. Fight! is a great read for anyone interested in a 40-year-old, retired football player taking on costumed thugs. The costumes, by the way, being mascot outfits. Watch Fearless beat the odds (literally) and the brakes off of every living man-bear in sight. This is a definite must-read.
